Representatives of the insurance industry who, through their work and social activities, have contributed in a special way to the development of the market in Poland, received state distinctions. The Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta and the Crosses of Merit were presented on 21 June this year by Mr Andrzej Dera, Secretary of State at the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. The ceremony took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw and was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Polish Chamber of Insurance. As President Andrzej Duda wrote in a letter to the participants of the ceremony: “(…) insurance is what allows us to think about the future and make life decisions with more confidence (…)”.
