The Polish Chamber of Insurance handed in awards ‘In recognition of service to the insurance industry’. The awards are given to persons indicated by insurance companies in recognition of their outstanding activity for the sake of the insurance market.
“I would like to thank those who were recognised for duly representing our sector in a variety of places and ways. Having analysed the requests sent by companies, we see that many people get engaged in social activity. It is linked with insurance in various ways, but it always shows one important aspect: helping is embedded in our sector’s DNA”, says Jan Grzegorz Prądzyński, President of the Polish Chamber of Insurance.
The awards are granted for special contribution to activity for the sake of the insurance market; It can be manifested through educational activity and raising insurance awareness, social work for the sake of insurance market development or engagement in developing the insurance self-governing organisation.
“I’m happy to see that more and more people are willing to work actively for our common welfare. At the moment there are more than 40 committees, sub-committees, expert groups, working groups and teams. This means that several hundred people are engaged in total in the work on current problems affecting the sector. This contribution is very important, because we wouldn’t be able to do so much good for insurance as is done with this support”, says Jan Grzegorz Prądzyński.
